Description
The TRC-ZK200 hose rack and pin pricker perforates the outer rubber layer of hydraulic hoses to release trapped air before crimping. The rack-and-pin mechanism drives a set of needles through the hose cover with minimal operator effort. Hoses with an outer diameter from 5 mm to 60 mm can be processed on this model.
Three sizes are available for different hose ranges. The ZK100 (8 kg) handles hoses from 8 to 45 mm OD — suitable for small-diameter workshop hoses. The ZK200 (22 kg) covers 5 to 60 mm, the widest range in the series. The ZK300 (58 kg) handles large industrial hoses from 30 to 100 mm OD.
The perforation step prevents air pockets from forming between the hose inner tube and outer cover during crimping. Trapped air causes fitting leaks and premature hose failure. Workshop operators use the ZK200 as a pre-crimp step: cut the hose, perforate the end, then crimp the fitting. At 22 kg, the ZK200 is manageable for a single operator.
