US18 & US20 Portable Hydraulic Crimper
Two models in one versatile platform. The US18 delivers 56TON in a compact 40kg frame; the US20 steps up to 130TON with an open-type head for bent pipes and 90° joints. Both run on semi-automatic/manual operation — no electricity required in the field.
Platform-Wide Details
Both US18 and US20 share the same hydraulic power unit, control philosophy, and accessory ecosystem — only the head and cylinder differ.
Engineered for Field & Shop
Two models share the same rugged hydraulic platform — same motor, same oil tank, same control logic — but different cylinder and head configurations to match your hose range.

One Platform. Dozens of Jobs.
The portable design of US18 and US20 makes them the go-to choice for anyone who needs to crimp hoses outside the shop — on-site, in the field, or in tight spaces.
Portable Power.
Precise Results.
The US18/US20 series combines hydraulic force with portability — no 380V industrial power supply needed, no heavy machinery to tow. Run it anywhere.
Open-Type Pressure Plunger (US20)
Horizontal adjustment mechanism allows the US20 to crimp long bent pipes and short 90° elbow fittings — impossible on closed-head machines.
56–130TON High-Force Output
Enough force to crimp 6-wire spiral hoses and heavy industrial couplings. US18 handles ¾”–1″ hoses; US20 tackles 1¼” 4sp with its 1275kN cylinder.
Semi-Auto + Manual Backup
Primary semi-automatic operation with optional manual pump — works even when power is unavailable in remote locations.
12–14 Quick-Change Dies
Tool-free die swaps. Both models ship with a full die set covering 6–47mm (US18) and 6–52mm (US20). Non-standard dies marked with *.
65mm Max Opening Without Dies
Generous jaw opening lets you slide assembled hoses in and out without removing couplings — speeds up repeat jobs.
Die Rubber Sleeve (Standard)
Protective rubber sleeve over dies protects coupling finish and extends die life by reducing wear on the crimping surface.
Compact & Portable
US18 at 40kg, US20 at 80kg — both can be transported in a service vehicle. No permanent installation required.
Shared Accessory Ecosystem
Both models use compatible hydraulic hoses, die sets, and manual pump options — reduces spare parts inventory for shops running both.
US18 vs US20 — Which Is Right for You?
Both machines share the same platform and hydraulic power unit. The decision comes down to hose size, fitting type, and portability needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the TRC-US18 & TRC-US20 before you buy.
What hose sizes can the US18 and US20 crimp?
The TRC-US18 handles hoses from ¾” 4sp to 1″ 2sp with a crimping range of 10–48mm. The TRC-US20 takes on larger 1¼” 4sp hoses with a crimping range of 10–52mm — making it the better choice for 6-wire spiral hose assemblies.
Does the US18 or US20 need electricity to operate?
Both machines operate on semi-automatic mode with a ¾ kW motor. For field use where power is unavailable, an optional manual pump can be used as a backup power source — making both models truly portable.
What is the difference between US18 and US20?
The main differences are pressure (56 vs 130TON), hose capacity (¾”–1″ vs 1¼” 4sp), die count (12 vs 14), weight (40 vs 80kg), and head type. The US20 also features an open-type pressure plunger with horizontal adjustment — allowing it to crimp bent pipes and 90° elbow fittings that are impossible on standard closed-head machines.
How much force can the US18 and US20 generate?
The TRC-US18 generates 560 kN (56 TON) of crimping force. The TRC-US20 steps up to 1275 kN (130TON) — enough to handle 6-wire spiral hydraulic hoses and heavy industrial couplings up to 1¼” diameter.
How long does die changeover take?
Die changeover on both US18 and US20 is tool-free and takes under 10 seconds. Simply loosen the die retaining collar, swap the die, and tighten — no wrenches or special tools required.
Can the US20 crimp bent pipes or 90° fittings?
Yes. The TRC-US20 features an open-type pressure plunger with horizontal adjustment — specifically designed for crimping long bent pipes and short 90° elbow fittings. The US18 does not have this capability.
Is a manual pump included or is it an optional extra?
The standard package includes the semi-automatic motor-driven pump. A manual pump is available as an optional accessory for backup use in remote locations where power is unavailable.
What dies are included with each model?
The TRC-US18 includes 12 die sets (US18/06 through US18/41) covering 6–47mm. The TRC-US20 includes 14 die sets (US20/06 through US20/52) covering 6–52mm. Dies marked with * are non-standard sizes available on request.
